A few good laughs…

Noticing the redesign on the “I Voted” stickers.
A: Looks like there was a surplus in the budget this year, they upgraded the stickers for us.

After telling me what he bought me for Christmas and opening the package with me in eyesight.
A: I probably should have not told you what I ordered and shouldn’t have opened it in front of you either.
Me: Well, maybe if you wrap it up and put it away I can try to forget what it is?

Raking the leaves on a bit of a blustery day, a walker by comments on the wind.
A: I figure if I keep raking them in this direction they will just all blow onto my neighbor’s lawn.

After just having 3 cavities filled at the dentist earlier in the day, he pulls out a large tootsie roll and proceeds to eat it.
A: Treating myself for doing so well at the dentist today.

And the softer side…

Trying to get some ideas from him on what he would like for Christmas and asking him to make a list.
A: I just want to have our boys home.
