Finally Six

Wishing time would slow down! My little man, who is not so little anymore, is officially six!! He has been waiting months for this.

He had a great time celebrating at the park, surprise lunch with dad, his favorite meal for dinner, cake and ice cream and a movie. I even attempted making and decorating him a cake, which he absolutely loved!!

I never would have thought my quiet Ethan would become a little socialite. The one talking my ear off most days and the first to make friends. He wakes up ready to solve the world’s problems and has most people’s word quota in by 8:00am.

Amazing how much he has grown and matured this past year. Never letting anyone tell him he is too young or too small, but determined to do anything he puts his mind to. He is a great big brother, always trying to get Gracie to laugh and smile and a great helper.

When he isn’t talking he is in deep thought. He is an observer and takes everything in from clothing details to exit signs. A little GPS, after going somewhere once he can give you the directions.

Officially starting kindergarten and trying to read every book and sign he sees. Thoughtful and caring, bringing me flowers weekly and making me heart warming cards, a man after my heart!

In denial that he would be six I told him he was turning four again, no fooling him. May your heart be blessed sweet son, I am honored to be your mama!
