This post may seem a few days late, but the celebration of Christmas has only begun on December 25 and we have the joy of continuing the party until Epiphany!!
It has been a very busy but joyful past week! Taking a brief break to share a few pictures from our celebrating.
After the Christmas Eve mass I was left with such a heart filled with gratitude reflecting on so many beautiful words.
It is Christ who seeks us out.
While so often my heart remains restless as I continue to long for but settle for the temporary satisfactions the world offers. Too many times blinded and not able to see the one alone who fulfills my deepest desires.
Truly we have a God who seeks us. Daily and continually. Never failing seeks to be in a relationship with us, to fill our lives completely.
A God who is faithful in all things. So faithful that He sent his only son to be a part of humanity. A son to suffer with us, grieve with us, rejoice with us and above all give reason to hope.
My prayer for the next year is that the peace, joy and love of the Christ child that we experience at Christmas remains with us and may completely fill our hearts.
Wishing you a very blessed and Merry Christmas season!
