This past weekend we packed up and headed west to visit my family who we haven’t seen since Christmas. Is was so good to see everyone again! The kids always get so excited, they can hardly sleep the night before leaving. We made great timing only stopping twice over six and a half hours on the way there. The way back home was another story…four stops in four hours, life with five kids.
Now we are just on the verge of the official start of baseball season. Although the boys have been practicing since February, tournaments start this weekend. According to my husband baseball qualifies as the fifth season of the year that somehow is mistakenly not put on the calendar. Don’t worry, we make sure to fully observe it!
You might say I have been influenced and probably so, but I am glad I was. I bit the bullet and bought a few BeautyCounter products this past winter. With just changing up a couple of my skin care regimen, my breakouts have vanished, the oil diminished and my skin has softened. Once I find the time I am hoping to become a consultant. They just extended their friends and family sale through today.
I am eyeing up some of these books, newly released! Perhaps some ideas for Mother’s Day. I linked to the publisher’s site, but they are all available on Amazon.

Letters to Women: Embracing The Feminine Genius In Everyday Life
Speaking of books, if you could do me a favor and head on over to Amazon and rate and review Nursery of Heaven I would be so grateful for your kindness!
This time of year can be incredibly difficult for women who have experienced loss, with Mother’s Day coming up in less than two weeks. For eight years I absolutely dreaded Mother’s Day, it was only a reminder of what I didn’t have yet so painfully longed for. More and more women have reached out in their grief and suffering over the past couple of months after experiencing the loss of their baby. Come back next week to enter a giveaway I am doing that will hopefully provide comfort and healing.
