Celebrate, throw the confetti!
It is hard to believe that today marks one year since I started this little space and blogging adventure! I had been meaning to start a blog for years, but always had excuses as to why not and just never seemed to get around to it.
Last year I finally put my foot down and made it part of my Lenten resolution. Now don’t take that the wrong way it was not penitential to start in anyway. More so it was a resolution that I knew would better myself, require some discipline, help further healing and perhaps in some small way inspire someone else.
I still feel like the blog is evolving and I am a newbie at this whole thing. Especially since I lack the creative luster so many other blogs beautifully exhibit. I also realize I have a long ways to go in the discipline area, as you can tell I am not the most consistent as to when and how often I post something new. So you could say it gives me goals for the next blogging year ahead!
I truly enjoy this little space, where I can share so many thoughts on my mind and heart. A place to share my life and journey. I continue to hope that something I write along the way will touch your heart as well, give you hope, support or maybe just a small laugh.
A few of my favorite posts over the past year include: Navigating Marriage After Miscarriage, Saying I Do, Living in the Wait, The Gift of Adoption and Introducing Our Family. Now just having read back through them again they seem to give a pretty good summary of the past year for me as well.
Here’s to the next blogging year and all that it holds!

Discipline and everyday life is something I can definitely identify with. I find blogs such as yours so inspiring and I often reflect on my own day to day stories. I also think to myself that there might be something someone out there might find inspiring or uplifting. I think we all have a story that when presented well, would be interesting to others. The trouble is just what you describe in this post. It is a lot more involved than you might realize. You have accomplished what a lot of others were not able to. An entire year consistently blogging! This is no small feat. Congratulations and may God bless this blog for all He has intended for it!
