A slight spin on the usual 3 Under $30, I hope you don't mind. Since my days are filled mostly with looking at toddler items and contemplating how to keep the littles warm, I thought turning it into a post would be the best use of time. Plus, because I have decisively thought out the science of layering a small one without the marshmallow effect, it also means I haven't done my usual perusing on the ladies fashion side. So starting with essential long underwear. Not bulky, easy to move in and staying close to the skin. 16.99 // Kohl's Moving on to an essential layering tee. Adding a nice pop of color. 10.00 // ... view the post
Every Now and Then Andy
The man behind Ann, names have been changed to protect the innocent. Giving credit to and highlighting my best friend, the man who holds me up, loves me unconditionally, makes me laugh out loud, leads me and challenges me to be a better person. A little bit about him, a behind the scenes look. Favorite Sport: Baseball Favorite Season: Baseball Favorite Hobby: Baseball Favorite Pastime: Baseball And, you get the idea. A few good laughs... 7 Takes, Two Days Late
1. A little late again with my quick takes, a full two days to be exact. Thinking I can still blame turning our clocks back as the culprit, although can't menace anything that gives me an extra hour of sleep. 2. I realize it's too early to be starting commentary on the weather, but then again it's also waaay too early to be having 6 inches of snow in the forecast!! Not to mention a dusting covering all of the rooftops this morning. Not sure I am ready for everything to look like this again for the next 6 months. (Note: this is not the current view out my window, but has potential to be after the first winter ... view the post
The Gift of Adoption

God continued to work on our hearts and in our lives as we slowly let go of our own will and dreams to fully embrace His plan, which ultimately will always surpass and fulfill the greatest desire of the heart. Looking back I wish we would had started the process years earlier, but it was in the doors shutting that we were led to ... view the post
3 Under $30, Welcome Back to Blogging
I guess I have been a little absent from the blogosphere recently, we'll just call it a two week sabbatical. So I am back and seem to have lots floating through my mind that I am eager to tap-tap out on this wonderful space. One of the very exciting events in my absence was my little brother's wedding!! Beautiful wedding and even more beautiful, beautiful new sister in-law!! Unfortunately, you will have to wait in suspense to see any pictures because I am: a) archaic and don't have a smart phone, b) was just enjoying the moment and c) they had a photographer. Starting easy, since I missed my October dose of 3 ... view the post
