I never promised that the recipes featured here would be gourmet or healthy, but I will deliver on delicious! My soon to be sister-in-law shared this delicacy with me years ago. This is my go to recipe for cook-outs, potlucks and last minute get-togethers. I usually keep the ingredients on hand for a moments notice. Enjoy! 1 Box of Traditional Chocolate Cake Mix 2 Eggs 1/3 Cup of Oil 1 Cup Chocolate Chips 1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk 1/4 Cup Butter (Cubed) Combine cake mix, oil and eggs. While We Wait
I haven't posted a lot on here about the adoption process or the status of our present adoption, so here's a little background. I love watching pageants, Miss USA, Miss America, you name it, I always have ever since I was a little girl, I guess it's the girly-girl in me. I always loved seeing the beautiful gowns, the gorgeous hair-dos and make-up and watching the talent competition. Still to this day I like to watch as the finalists receive their last question and try to articulate an answer under immense pressure. Of course I offer my own critiquing of their answers and try to guess who will win the crown. This past ... view the post
7 Takes, Keeping it Real
1. Having a little sense of humor as we head into the weekend and linking up with Jen. This week seemed to have been filled with several opportunities to just laugh at the situation and roll with the punches. Keeping it real, thought I would share a few examples. 2. I was going to post a delish chicken kabob recipe this past week, complete with colorful photos and all. It's one of my favorites, a light and tasty summer dish that gives you a break from all of the hamburgers and brats. I had the veggies cut up, the meat marinading and was T-30 minutes from getting it on the grill. The clouds opened up and when it ... view the post
