A collection of some of the latest and greatest words from my wise little ones. They keep me laughing…and on my toes! Never a dull moment in this house.
While setting up our nativity outside.
Me: We will wait for Christmas to put baby Jesus out.
Kolbe: Why? Is he stuck? Maybe he is just lost in the temple.
Ethan trying to have a serious conversation with me about a book he would like me to find while Grace coos in the background.
E: Gracie can you please stop talking?!
Prior to Grace being born I was telling Aaron about my expensive compression stockings ripping again.
K: It’s because your butt is too big.
Me: Huh? You mean my belly is big?
K: No. Your butt is too big.
In my bedroom pumping, with Ethan standing outside the door.
E: How many cups are you doing today? Four or six?
Greeting me in the kitchen after waking up.
K: Last night when I was in bed I was quietly singing to the angels.
Aaron and I discussing when we would have Grace baptized since she isn’t suppose to be around a lot of people.
K: I know, we can go to Wal-Mart and buy a baptism bowl and dad can baptize her at our house.
After I enjoyed two peanut butter cookies.
Me: They were so good I could eat another one.
E: If you eat 3 cookies you will have a pregnant belly again!
After finishing our math problems for the day.
K: Gracie what’s 9+2?
G:
K: 11? Good job!!
Practicing his spelling words.
K: Give me a tough one…like knowledge!
While doing flips off the couch.
E: Gracie don’t watch. This is inappropriate to see.
Fervently praying for another baby during our nightime prayers.
K: Mommy, I have a question.
Me: What’s that?
K: Do you have a baby in your belly now? Because I just prayed for one.
K: Mommy, I am going to make you to get pregnant again!
Me: …what?!?
K: Because I am praying for another baby!
Happy Monday, hope your week is filled with a lot of laughter and joy!!
